A family house and garden which has been developed and evolved over a number of years. The house is set within the garden on the side of a hill with beautiful views across the Wiltshire valley beyond. This garden is as much about structure as it is about the planting. Initially, the brief was to develop some borders to give the bare bones of the garden interest. Later additional borders were created with sumptuous planting to give a long season of interest. As time has gone on, new areas were created such as an orchard, a cherry avenue and a poolside garden to create more structure and enjoyment. Each area of garden has now taken on a character and purpose.
